Community, Parents and Students it gives me great pleasure to unveil Tierra Encantada’s new website. A lot of work went into its design as our Technology Coordinator Kim Larson, spent countless hours to ensure its success. This new website should be a place where anyone could find out about our school. Our curriculum, activities, board agenda, meetings, minutes and other functions will be posted and constantly updated. This webpage will be translated in Spanish to benefit our Spanish speaking parents and students. Our goal is to keep our school community updated on a regular basis, but at the same time make it easy for them and others to find information about our wonderful school at their convenience.
We welcome any feedback on helping make our new website better.
Welcome all parents and students to Tierra Encantada Charter School. I am very excited to see what this year brings as your new principal, and it is my hope that as the year progresses I get to know you and your students personally. It is the goal of the amazing staff at Tierra Encantada to work with you to create a rich learning environment for all students. Student success is a shared responsibility between the school staff, students and parents.
This is a very exciting time. It is my hope that we will all meet any challenges with determination and excitement and celebrate learning. Education is a team process between school and home. As we work with our students to help them learn about the world around them through hands-on, project based curriculum, we very much appreciate the support that parents give students at home as they strive to reach their goals-both educational and personal.
The foundation of a successful school is the cooperation between the students, staff, parents and community. Parents are a vital part of Tierra Encantada. You are invaluable to the school through volunteer time and support of school activities. I look forward to working with you and developing a relationship that will assist in the growth of all students at Tierra Encantada Charter School.
